Just this month, Toyota launched a campaign that gives people the chance to do something kind for others, using something as simple as their selfie. The campaign #Selflessie encourages people to snap and post a “selfless selfie.”
Through Jan. 4th, every single selfie hashtagged on Instagram with #Selflessie will trigger a $50 donation from Toyota to the Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
Toyota enlisted the help of do-gooders like Kelly Rowland, Paul Wesley, and Debby Ryan to get the message out. And at the end of the run, the automaker will donate up to $750K (originally $250K but due to the popularity of the campaign, they tripled the gift amount).
