Accenture Digital recently asked digital-first firms (B2B organizations with more than $500M in revenue with 21%< of it received online) for their most successful tactics in enhancing their user experience (UX). The study found that less than a quarter (23%) of business-to-business (B2B) firms have successfully implemented UX programs that lead to substantial annual revenue growth, according to new research from Accenture Strategy.
Why? Only 32% say they have the resources, skills, and tools they need to provide the experiences B2B customers require.
A majority of the firms (66%) surveyed understand that they face threats from “new entrants,” which in many cases are providing superior experiences.
