The Veterans Cannabis Ball Is Where Posh and Pride Meets Pot

Group creates a glorious space for veteran armed forces servicemen and servicewomen to have an open dialogue about cannabis and to encourage access to the healing plant without fear and negative stigmas. 

Lancaster, California, November 12, 2018. — Dust to Diamonds Incorporated, (Dust to Diamonds) a minority, woman-owned cannabis real estate, manufacturing, and lifestyle/wellness company specializing in cannabis cannabidiol (CBD) healing products, hosted the 2nd Annual Veterans Cannabis Ball with the Veterans Cannabis Coalition, and OTTO by Banana Bros.

In contemporary Los Angeles style, the posh event featured over a dozen sponsors, 200 attendees, bowties, bowls, and even a cannabis layered cake. The ball brought together veteran armed forces servicemen and servicewomen who use medical marijuana to treat symptoms of depression, anxiety, PTSD, and other ailments common with military service Americans.

“This was an amazing opportunity to celebrate veterans with a night dedicated just for them to be themselves in a glorious and engaging experience,” said Mariah Dodson, co-founder and COO of Dust to Diamonds, Inc. “As a U.S. Army Logistics Specialist, it means a lot for us to be recognized for our service and dedication to our country.”

“The Veterans Cannabis Coalition put this event together to showcase different ways for people to interact with cannabis, the natural relationship between veterans and cannabis, and to help normalize the perception of the herb in the eyes of the general public,” said Eric Goepel, founder & CEO, Veterans Cannabis Coalition. “We see this as part of our overall mission to end prohibition and hope to use events like these to build political support for cannabis reform legislation.”
