What’s Hot, What’s Not in Advertising – ad:tech Survey [Infographic]

Lots of exciting trends and technologies were revealed at last month’s ad:tech conference in San Francisco. The conference included a total of seven keynotes and 35+ breakout sessions covering topics, including things like display advertising, mobile, social, video, media and more. The Local Corporation conducted a random sampling of 115 survey respondents to determine what was particularly hot at this Springtime event.

Agencies and publishers surveyed agree, the most interesting new advertising opportunities were found to be in mobile and social. Local Corporation also reported:

  • 61% of surveyed agencies believe that advertising converts better via mobile smart phones and/or tablets.
  • 26% of surveyed brands are planning to invest in more mobile and local advertising, 20% in rich media and video content, and 13% in ad sponsorship.
